The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. I really liked the ambience of this restaurant. First-rate spot to take my family out for dinner.

Ever since moving to the area my girlfriend and I have been coming to Gennaro's at least once a month for the passed year and half. The consistency, quality and care put into each dish keeps us coming back as does the fantastic service. Among dozens of incredible meals, over the course of close to two years we had only one issue and when we brought it to the owner's attention it was handled in a way that you only experience at a chef owned establishment; with care, empathy and sincerity. If you live nearby or want a South Philly quality Italian meal without going into the city I highly recommend checking out Ristorante Gennaro!

I like this place! They offer splendid food, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that spot is very experienced, I like very much eating all their food. The dishes are consistently fresh, the service towards the visitors is nice. I visit often this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Not as good as I hoped it would me.....just average.....veal dish tasted old (I didn't finish and didn't take leftovers home😢)...antipasto was basic.....chicken parm and ravioli were very good...canoli ok.....staff very good...no wait (we didn't have reservations and were seated in minutes).

Best Italian food in Delaware County. Due to the virus, they are open for take out. I ordered the lasagne meal deal, absolutely delicious. Perfect for my husband and I as we can’t be around the family. Thank you Gennaros for being open during this crisis.

It's been years since I've visited. It used to be one of my favorites. I'm pleased to say I can still say the same. In fact, they did a small remodel since I was there last, which opened up the front of the dining room. It used to feel like you were sitting in someone's basement (which was OK, food was still worth the visit). They've added a floor to ceiling window in place of the front wall which really opens the place up. Everyone with me really enjoyed their orders. I had the eggplant Parmesan and loved it. But the dessert was superb! I forget exactly what it was - almond cream pie - I think? Plus it's a BYOB. Always a plus.

Delicious! Had the fish special, with greens and cappilini. So good! And a homemade lemon tart! My mom had the eggplant parmigiana. OMG! Small place, excellent service. I will go back again!

Really good Italian Restaurant. I like the simple menu and the BYOB/wine. The wait staff is friendly and courteous. It's a small place so I would definitely call and see availability and reserve accordingly.

Just had Gennaros take out "Family Dinner for Four". It was nothing short of fantastic! We had the Lasagna and will be back to try the other specials! Absolutely love this place!

This is my second time ordering from here, and they did not disappoint. I ordered the Lasagna and Cappelini Shrimp, Gennaro's salad, and a side of garlic bread. Everything was delicious. I will order again.

Good Italian food at affordable prices

This little treasure is on Rte 452 in Aston. Terrific Italian cuisine in a BYOB cafe style. Everything made fresh on site Old World style. The staff are the best! They cater also!

Yum! BYOB. Menu changes daily. Small venue that serves freshly made & Excellent Italian & seafood fare. No fast food. Make a reservation from Thursday thru Sunday, at least. No mediocrity. Delicious homemade meals at fair prices. Not cheap, not too expensive. Good quality food, great service! Go! It's a hidden gem.

The food is absolutely delicious! But make sure you have a reservation. It's a very small restaurant and packed every night. I would have given it five stars but when we walked in, we were told it was going to be a 15 to 20-minute wait. It took them over 45 minutes to seat us

Though I've only been to Gennaro's once, which was for my aunts surprise birthday party last week, it was a very nice and authentic Italian restaurant. The waiters and waitresses were nice and helpful, and the food was great. Quite a menu they have with much variety of food! If I had the chance to go back, this time being with a date, hopefully, I would definitely want try it again. Located in Aston it is, and easy to spot since it's a front with a reasonably big white sign with red and green letters. The parking is small in the front of it but there's more parking on the back of the restaurant.

Some of the best Italian food you will ever eat at any price! I was so amazed at the incredible food and super reasonable pricing I could hardly believe how good it was! I had the mozzarella appetizer (Highly recommended!), the veal entree' and of course, cannolis! Everything was superb, unique and excellent and dinner for two was $89, including a well earned generous tip! This is now my go to dinning spot! The food just can't be beat regardless of the cost! Yes it is that good!

This restaurant is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. Whenever I feel like having a fair lunchon, this restaurant comes instantly to my head. splendid and varied food and a large list of dishes.helpful team, and great vibes. My friend recommended that I try this restaurant and I am so happy I did! I definitely was not disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Piccata Family Meal and is was delicious! I also ordered mussels and they were delicious as well. The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing! I was in search of a great Italian restaurant and I found one! I highly recommend this place and since going here I have been recommending it to my family and friends! I promise you will not be disappointed!

The food was absolutely incredible, and everything was reasonably priced. It is a BYOB, so grab your favorite bottle of wine and get going!My husband had the rigatoni vodka and I had the gnocchi. The vodka sauce was the best I've ever had.. I instantly regretted not getting the same meal as soon as the waitress put the plate in front of him.. don't get me wrong, the gnocchi was good.. they were not heavy at all. But that vodka sauce.... we're already planning our return!
